Case study · Client work
Superdigital, part of Accenture Song, came to me to produce Series 01 of Xbox Trading Cards — ten designs from across the Xbox universe. They brought the designs. I handled the production — turning the artwork into finished cards, packing them in custom printed foil, and delivering the complete set sealed and ready to rip.
Out in the world
Xbox opened the series on its official TikTok, revealing the finished cards and foil packaging on camera. The remaining packs went to the Xbox team as keepsakes from the project. Watch it on tiktok.com/@xbox.
The cards
Series 01 brought together ten card designs from across Xbox franchises and history, all tied together with a shared card back.

Production
Xbox supplied the finished card designs. My job was to make the physical product feel like the real thing — from the stock and cut to the foil wrapper and final seal.

From flat wrapper artwork to sealed foil pack.
The cards were printed on 16 pt coated two-side stock for the weight, feel, and print quality you'd expect from a collectible trading card.
Every card was machine-cut to final size with square corners for the clean, modern look of the original design.
The wrapper artwork was printed directly onto metallic foil with no white ink. Anywhere the design called for silver, the foil itself became part of the artwork.
Ten cards went into each pack before the foil wrappers were heat-sealed and the finished packs were prepared for delivery.

At the shop
I shot both of these once the run was finished — the sealed packs nested in their shipping box, and one of the first packs getting opened.

“The cards and packs came out amazing! The team was thrilled with the final product and they look fantastic on camera.”

If you have the artwork, the idea, or just the beginnings of a concept, I can help turn it into something people actually want to open and collect. Custom trading cards, specialty finishes, foil packs, packaging, collation and more — all built around your project.
