Event Promo CardU.S. Figure Skating x Fashion: Styling 2027 is the season launch — an immersive evening at View Boston on August 26, 2026, built around the creative process behind competition costumes. Costume concepts, mood boards, interactive installations, and Olympic and national team skaters moving through a gallery-style room.
For a night about how something is designed, the giveaway had to hold up as a designed object itself. U.S. Figure Skating's team created the artwork in-house and delivered it print-ready. Our job started at press: making the files production-safe, matching the colour they had on screen, and running the two finishes.
The split was deliberate. Five hundred base cards to hand out freely, and two hundred with a flood UV front — the same card, finished so it catches the light differently in the hand.
No wrapper, no set to complete. These were made to be handed to someone across a table and put straight in a pocket, which puts all the weight on the card itself — the trim, the colour, and how the coated ones catch the room.
Both runs are the identical design — nothing about the artwork changes. What changes is the surface. The base card is printed straight to stock; the UV version takes a clear flood coat across the front, which throws a hard highlight as it moves and gives the darks a little more depth. It is the kind of difference that is obvious in the hand and almost invisible in a photograph, so here it answers to your cursor instead.

Printed straight to stock. Even, low-sheen surface that stays readable from any angle.

Clear flood UV across the front. Catches the light as it turns, with deeper darks and a harder gloss.
Move your cursor across a card to catch the light. The coating is on the front only — both share the same uncoated back.
This was a print-ready engagement: the design was finished before it reached us, so the work was in production rather than art direction.
Front and back supplied as press-ready files by their in-house design team.
500 base and 200 UV coated, specified up front.
Delivered in time for the August 26 launch at View Boston.
